Rip Off. Does not work, no support, no refund.. I bought this product. It did not work for YouTube and only gives me errors for Amazon Prime. I have only gotten a few lame excuse emails from their support saying they are looking into the problem, but nothing else. This has gone one for over a month. I have asked for a refund, but no reply. Seems to be a rip-off. Buyer beware. Pros: Nothing. Does not work. Cons: Product does not work.

Almost perfect web stream ripper but lack of customer service drags it down. RipTiger is a convenient piece of software for ripping web streams and converting to other formats. The UI is pretty clean and easy to use/understand and the fact that it does the ripping/conversion automatically is nice. Its also very fast. Unfortunately, lack of documentation (specifically formats it won't rip) and absolutely NO customer service really drag down the overall score on this application.For instance, I went to NBC to see an episode of The Singoff that my wife and I missed. After clicking on the episode, RipTiger proceeded to start ripping the web stream (including the ads which their marketing says RipTiger will skip using some type of ad detection algorithm). Once the actual episode started though, RipTiger stopped ripping/converting video. Again, the webpage marketing brags about being able to rip ANY web stream. I think to myself maybe I need to enable some setting or something. Searching through the limited settings dialog didn't turn anything up so I email customer support. No word within 24 hrs. Email again. No reply. As far as I can tell, the product is great if it does what you want out of the box. If it doesn't, don't bother trying to get help, once Softonic has your cash, they cut and run and don't care about you anymore.Its really too bad as this application is already very good and on the cusp of being great. If 1) They could just publish a list of stream types that RipTiger can't handle and 2) Customer support actually contacted me back I'd change this rating to an 8, but I have to knock off 3 stars for those reasons. Wonderful software to capture videos from any website. Easy and no problem. If you need fast automatic downloads of all the videos you're viewing online than RipTiger is the only choice for you. It is one of the best web video downloaders you will ever find. Working without any bugs and problems it does what it should: capture videos from any website at the background while I'm surfing the web. And it does this very well! Besides the program converts the videos downloaded to one of the supported formats I can choose manually. Pros: Great product that works well on my PC Downloads any video from all the websites I tried Cons: nothing really, I'm satisfied with RipTiger

Excellent video downloader and converter! . Works autonomously, doesn't require any special tech knowledge. Great app for those who needs to download a YouTube or Vimeo video, or Flash, QuickTime video from the website. My 5 stars to RipTiger!
